Welcome to Finde. By using thefindeapp.com and related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Finde is a platform for Ghanaian businesses to create discoverable pages, list products, services, and events, and accept Mobile Money and card payments from customers. Finde provides the tools; businesses are responsible for their own offerings, fulfilment, and customer relationships.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
- You may sign in with email or with a Google account.
Business responsibilities
If you operate a business on Finde, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business and offering information.
- Fulfil orders you accept and honour the prices you set.
- Comply with applicable Ghanaian laws, including consumer protection and tax obligations.
- Not list illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited goods or services.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Paystack and settle directly to the business’s Mobile Money account.
- Finde charges a platform fee, disclosed during payment setup, deducted per transaction.
- Refunds and disputes are handled by the business. Finde records requests but is not the merchant of record.
- Buyers are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery details.
Orders and fulfilment
Finde facilitates the connection and payment between buyer and business. The business is solely responsible for delivering the goods or services ordered. Finde is not a party to the underlying sale.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for fraud, deception, or illegal activity.
- Upload harmful, infringing, or offensive content.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse the platform.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your business.
Content
You retain ownership of content you upload but grant Finde a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you post.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or suspend features.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm users or the platform. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Finde is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts, products, or services of businesses on the platform. Finde does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listings.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
